Take an inside look at the artist's studio and practice in this first installment of IN THE STUDIO with Andre Woolery.
Andre Woolery uses non-traditional materials such as buttons and pushpins to create multidimensional artworks that explore identity, culture and history through emboldened imagery, pop-art aesthetics, and boundary pushing artistry. In this interview, Andre tells us about his influences, creating during the pandemic, his recent move to Los Angeles, and some of the previous projects in collaboration with Indiewalls at Renaissance New York Hotel and Hotel 57 in New York.
